Okay so if anyone has read the various video game blogs and reports recently, they might have notice that Bethesda studios is a little butt hurt on the fact that some people don't make enough money to buy their games so they wait till it's either been out for a while and the price goes down, or (like most minimum wage paid gamers) get a used game. The producer of their most recently created game Rage looks to be a very interesting and fun to play game, however in order to crack down on the purchase of this game used, they have decided to take out most, if not all of the single player mode in the game. Now I can understand if someone pirates a copy of the game. They are in the business to make money. But come on, are you really gonna deprive many gamers the joy of playing out the story mode just because they think eating a balanced meal every now and then is more important than shelling out $60 for the game itself. Bethesda is not the only company that is planing on going to extreme measures like this. More and more games are now depriving the people who buy games used by taking out content and extras of the game. So what happens if I decide I want to play the game in the future and I want to buy it but they stopped manufacturing the game. Why do I have to be punished just because I do not buy the game the way you want me to buy it. My fellow gamers, I am not going to encourage you to stay away from games like these, however, I am encouraging you to let your voice be heard and let these game studios know that what they are doing is wrong and selfish, and if you keep going down this path, then I will take my hard earned cash and go to Walmart and buy groceries and other necessities, than eat ramen soup while playing your games.
